maching in his home and taught him the basics of sewing. "I
couldn't afford to buy any trunks or tank-tops, so I made
my own." Eloy starting boxing at the age of six, with
his uncle Pete Rodriques as his coach. Eloy boxed through
the years, ending with 40 plus bouts on his record. "I
was a .500 boxer, but I won as many as I lost."
In 1997 Eloy started making boxing apparel for
the young boxers at the Greeley City Recreation Center where
his dad ran the local boxing program. "I started making
stuff so the kids could have affordable custom boxing apparel."
The year 2000 brought Pro Style Boxing Apparel and Eloy's
business to Colorado and the rest of the world.
Eloy does a lot for boxing. He has donated his
labor making uniforms (trunks and tank tops) for Colorado's
